TRIAL OF IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT CONTINUES

The trial of a Pakistani naturalized Canadian who operated as an "immigration consultant" allegedly linked to the Mumbai bombings continues today. It would be very interesting to know if he used his consultancy to get visas for unsavory people to enter Canada. Obviously, it appears that he was a "Canadian citizen of convenience" as he was not living in Canada at the time of the allegations, and one wonders how he was permitted to file any kind of applications on behalf of clients, a fact that has not yet been made clear.
